My dog, an almost 10 year old American Spaniel who weighs 65 pounds (large spaniel) has had a problem with his eyes since he was 3 months old; 2 operations to replace the lacrimal gland (I think that's the name) which comes out of his 3rd eyelid. All his life I had to give him artificial tears but for I would say 2 years he always has infection in his eyes, the vet sold me cortisone to put in his eyes telling me that he had to take it all his life, which I did not agree with, so I turned to homeopathy following advice from a lady who told me that she studied in this field.
