TROIS FAÇONS SIMPLES DE RENFORCER NATURELLEMENT LE SYSTÈME IMMUNITAIRE DE VOTRE CHIEN

THREE EASY WAYS TO NATURALLY BOOST YOUR DOG'S IMMUNE SYSTEM

If I say IMMUNE SYSTEM, what image comes to mind first? A shield, a battlefield, armor?

We all know what the immune system is in theory, but it's difficult to put into practice because we can't see it. However, we all want our dog's immune system to be strong to protect him from as many ailments as possible!

Yet, if it were possible to see all the invisible germs and pollutants attacking our pet's immune system, we wouldn't dare leave our homes! Far be it from me to scare you into barricading yourself and your dog at home! However, if you're aware of the potential threats to your dog's health, you'll be better equipped to avoid them. Here are three simple ways to naturally strengthen your dog's immune system!

THE IMMUNE SYSTEM: WHAT EXACTLY IS IT?

As we mentioned, the immune system is vital for protecting your dog's health, much like a repellent shield. I like to think of it as a suit of armor that protects the entire body. It's also a kind of protective force that can fight off diseases that attack the body. But if this armor and this strength are defective, the entire body's balance is at risk... and that's when allergies and diseases of all kinds appear.

So, if you're like me and prefer prevention over cure (and avoid trips to the vet), you'll try to give your dog the best immune defenses possible!

THE 3 RULES TO FOLLOW FOR TOP IMMUNE HEALTH!

#1 GOOD DIET

Have you ever heard the expression that you are what you eat? Well, it's true for animals too! Yes, dogs can eat certain foods that are indigestible to humans, much like scavengers, without getting sick. However, on a daily basis, they need a good diet to stay healthy. If, for example, you only feed them table scraps, their health will quickly be affected. On this subject, I recommend reading our articles on raw food and simple recipes to make at home .

If time permits, prepare simple, balanced meals yourself. Otherwise, your veterinarian or other pet nutrition experts can recommend prepared products that will help your dog maintain good overall health.

A balanced diet can really make a difference and support the body's internal functioning by providing the minerals, proteins, and vitamins that nourish organs and tissues. Also, make sure your dog is drinking enough good-quality water to flush toxins from the body.

#2 THINK ABOUT PROBIOTICS

Probiotics can also be very beneficial for your dog!

Small regular doses will stimulate the immune system: strengthening of the intestinal flora, healthy digestion, very real defense against stress or illness.

However, it's important to use good probiotics and follow the correct dosage for your dog. In fact, not all commercially available probiotics are created equal. Some lower-quality probiotics may contain traces of allergens to which some pets may develop reactions.

On the other hand, quality probiotics can increase the quality of your pet's immune defenses by eight times.

If you already have probiotic capsules at home, talk to a specialist to ensure their quality and learn more about the doses that are right for your pet.

#3 OUT! LET'S MOVE!

We all know that exercise is good for us. Walking, running, and cardio help burn unwanted fat cells, improve blood circulation, reduce stress, oxygenate the entire body, and promote mental health.

So why wouldn't it be just as important for our dogs? Outside, dogs run around chasing balls, playing with kids, and exercising. All of this promotes their overall physical and emotional health (in addition to getting fresh air), and it's just as ESSENTIAL as the other two rules mentioned above.

In short, a good diet, probiotics and physical exercise will allow your dog to build a quality immune system in order to fight as much as possible any potential threat to its health.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

These three basic rules aren't difficult to implement! Can you make some lifestyle changes to yourself and your dog today?

Whether you're a new pet owner or have a long-time companion, you probably have the same goal: to live with your pet for as long as possible. Growing attached to a pet comes with a lot of responsibility that you don't want to take lightly. These three tips don't require a lot of time or money to implement. However, they can make all the difference and save you from significant vet bills or heartache if your dog gets sick. It's best to act preventively!

Maybe you're already doing everything just mentioned to boost your dog's immune system? That's great! Keep doing it! You won't regret it!

If you're struggling to keep your dog's immune system healthy, don't give up! One healthy habit at a time, you'll get there!
