Vraiment tres tres contente de ce produit. Il marche parfaitement bien sur mes chiens à poils longs toujours tres exposés aux tiques, dans mon jardin et dans les forets tous les jours en balade. Toutes les methodes naturelles locales que j'ai testees n'ont jamais fonctionné puisque mes chiens se baignent tres souvent en riviere et tout produit local part avec l'eau. Ici, un coup de spray dans la bouche tous les jours et le tour est joué.

What is a flea?

 

Fleas are blood-sucking insects that live on the surface of mammals and feed on the blood of their hosts. They move by jumping, with some species able to leap up to 30 cm high! Different species of fleas infest domestic animals. Some species of this parasite, like the cat flea, are very opportunistic and can change hosts, infesting humans. In general, they are often well tolerated by the animal, although significant itching may appear in some individuals, leading to allergic dermatitis with skin lesions. In some cases, fleas, themselves parasitized, can transmit sometimes serious bacterial infections.

 

What is a tick?

 

Ticks are blood-sucking mites, meaning they feed on and live off another animal. They suck the blood of vertebrates, primarily terrestrial mammals and birds, and can measure from 1 to 5 mm in length when unfed, and up to 30 mm when engorged with blood. They are carriers of parasites and can therefore transmit diseases caused by these parasites to their host, the most well-known being Lyme disease.
